“The Return of the Dorias.” is the evocative historical re-enactment celebrating in Loano a fundamental moment of its identity: the proclamation of the free county of Loano in 1575 under the rule of Counts Zenobia Del Carretto and Gianandrea Doria.

Journey through the Renaissance in Loano
Organized by the association Old Loano and sponsored by the City Council, this event is a faithful immersion in the era late Renaissance. It is based on the consistent reconstruction of original historical documents related to the settlement of the Doria princes and the loanese community's oath.
Historical performances and entertainment
The event transforms the downtown and the waterfront of Loano into an authentic open-air stage. Tourists and residents are invited to take part in a real journey through the centuries, enjoying a rich and varied entertainment program:
