From Aug. 24 to 29, Loano  will hostthe thirteenth edizionof. Labat Loano Dance, dance review promoted by the’Department of Tourism, Culture and Sports of the City of Loano Edited by master choreographer Gino Labate and by the dancer, teacher and choreographer Emanuela Campiciano.

Loano will be the capital of dance for six days with stages, performances, competitions for choreographers and young talents, and a grand gala featuring the stars of ballet.

The initiative will bring young people from all over Italy to Loano and offer tourists and residents the opportunity to see high-quality dance performances.

Dance classes will be held in the Sports Hall. Teaching classes in various techniques and styles will be internationally renowned masters such as: Dunia Vera Hernandez (maitre de ballet international Cuba - Cuban Classical Dance ), Oscar Torrado Del Puerto (Spain - Two-step, pointe and repertoire), Lazaro Carreño (Cuba - Classical Dance), Gino Labate (Italy -Dance Style Fusion), Alessandro Minghi (Italy - Modern), Emanuela Campiciano (Italy - Choreographic Workshop), Tiziano Vasselli ( Italy - Hip hop).

As part of the review will be held the’eighth edition of the competitionA dancing people” and the “Grand Prix Giuliana Penzi”.

The competition “A Dancing People” provides for the participation of soloists, pas de deux and groups. Participants may bring on stage choreography belonging to any technique and style, with no age limit. The jury, composed of distinguished figures in the field of dance will award a first, second and third place for both the choreography competition and the young talent competition, two grand prix, two special mentions and a festival revelation prize. Prestigious prizes, scholarships and recommendations for international institutions and academies will be up for grabs.

Friday, August 28, in the’Summer Arena Prince's Garden, to the 9:30 pm, the preliminary and final rounds of the choreography and young talent competition will be held.

Saturday, August 29, in the’Prince's Garden Summer Arena, at 21.30, the Grand Gala “Stars in Dance” will close the festival. International guests honored by the festival, winners of the “A Dancing People” competition, and interns will dance. Also guests of the evening will be the dancers Giulia Lampredi, Eleonora Di Vita, Angelo Egarese of Emox Ballet Company, who will perform choreography by Beatrice Paoleschi.

Finally, they will dance Camilla Cerulli and Davide Pietroniro, Roberta Siciliano, Francesca Capacci Jolie Lombardo (guest from America Atlanta).

The evenings are at free admission.
