GIULIO ORNATI AND VIRGINIA OLIVERI WIN THE 8th EDITION OF THE VIBRAM® MAREMONTANA ’MEMORIAL CENCIN DE FRANCESCO“ IN LOANO.”
06h15’36” is the time in which Giulio Ornati of Team Salomon won the 63K for the second year in a row. First in the women's section of the 63K is Virginia Olivier of Bergteam Salomon. In the 46K in the men's section Paolo Piano wins and in the women's section Monica Dalmasso.
Great success for the eighth edition of the Vibram® Maremontana - Cencin De Francesco Memorial, which was run today on the inland trails of Loano over three distances, 63 km, 46 km and 20 km, and saw at the starting tape over 650 runners Italians and foreigners. 16 have been the nations represented In this edition.
The 63-kilometer victory went again in this edition to Giulio Ornati of Team Salomon, who crossed the finish line in 06:15:36, improving his 2016 result by 8 minutes, after a long head-to-head race with Emanuele Ludovisi of D+ Trail, who finished second with 06:16:36. First among women and 13th overall in the long race is Virginia Oliveri of Bergteam Salomon with a time of 07:54:10, ahead of Cristiana Follador of the Aldo Moro Sports Union (08:02:54), Laura Besseghini of Atletica Alta Valtellina (08:19:48), Yulia Baykova of Team Vibram (08:26:58) and Guendalina Sibona (08:46:07).

The women's classification of the 46 km. sees on the first step of the podium Monica Dalmasso of Podistica Valvermenagna Buzzi with 05:31:06, followed by French Audrey Bassac Of Team Vibram (05:37:31), Chiara Bertino Of ASD Equilibra Running Team (05:54:58), Anna De Biase of Team Tornado Trail Running (06:10:08) and Giulia Arrigoni Of Bergamo Stars Athletics (06:17:09).
First man in the 20K is Corrado Ramorino of Genoa City Group with 01:38:16, followed by Riccardo De Gaetano Of Runner's World (01:40:41), Alexander Painter of ASD Gruppo Podisti Albesi Mokafe (01:41:33), Stephen Ruzza of Team Vibram (01:42:37) and Davide Ansaldo Of Bergteam Salomon (01:44:06).
Among women takes home the victory of the short race Francesca Costa of Team Spirit Trail (02:17:11), followed by. Cecilia Corniati (02:20:12), Alessia Fratianni Of Trail Running Brescia (02:21:02), Denise Gallan of the Company of Grit (02:21:31) and Julia Sereno Of G. S. Atletica Valtanaro (02:22:34).
