He continues to Loano the season of great sports that offers on the weekend of the March 5 and 6 the final of the 2016 Italian Junior and Absolute Kata Championships, organized by the’Musurakai Karate Association of Loano, in collaboration with the Italian Judo Wrestling Karate and Martial Arts Federation and with contributions from the’Department of Tourism, Culture and Sports of the City of Loano.
“In the Palazzetto dello Sport “E. Garassini,” - the organizers explain - on Saturday, March 5, the junior class athletes and on Sunday, March 6, the athletes of the absolute class will take to the competition carpets for the 2016 Italian Kata Championships.
Those enrolled in the junior class are 70 males and 56 females, while in the Absolute class males are 79 and females 65. Given the high technical value of the registered athletes, it will be an opportunity to see matches of the highest quality.
In the junior class, the 2015 Italian champions were won by. Terryana D'Onofrio (D'Onofrio Motor Activity Center) in the women's, while in the men's by Manuel Stea (Metropolitan Karate Shotokan). In the women's absolutes, the 2015 Italian champion was. Viviana Bottaro (GS Fiamme Oro Roma), while in the men's the gold medal went to Mattia Busato (karate Castelfranco veneto Sport Target).”
