Saturday, September 19,a Loano, will continue the review “The Turchini Concerts, organized by the Brotherhood of the Turks' Chapels under the auspices of the’Department of Tourism, Culture and Sports of the City of Loano.

At 9 p.m., l’Oratory Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary, will host a new round of the program dedicated to “The Musics of the Soul.”. Protagonist of the sacred music concert will be the Meneghine Quintet with the “Concerto for clarinet and strings”.

The Meneghine Quintet was born from the meeting of five young and talented musicians united by a deep love for chamber music. A recently formed ensemble, from the outset it has distinguished itself in academic and concert circles for its exquisite technical skills and refined musicality, dictated by a careful and meticulous study of details, thanks to the constant guidance of Luca Braga, professor of Chamber Music at the G. Verdi Conservatory of Milan.

The lineup - consisting of Lorenzo Paini clarnet, Lucia Zanoni, Margaret Miramonti Violins, Susanna Tognella Viola, John Volpe Cello - recently won the Arnaldo Rancati Award, established by the Milan Conservatory of Music and dedicated exclusively to chamber music, and the first overall prize to the first International County Award Competition.

The quintet has also participated in numerous festivals and reviews including: “Concertiamo 2014” in the Puccini Hall of the Conservatory, “Segnano in musica,” “Spazio Concertiamo” in the Villa di Breme Forno (Cinisello Balsamo), “Abbazie Arte e Musica” in the Certosa di Vigano. In addition, they have played in the concert season organized by the Association “Amici del Loggione del Teatro alla Scala” and in that of the Società Umanitaria and the UniMi Orchestra.

The evening's program will feature performances of the compositions:Quintet for clarinet and strings in A major KV 581 Stadler” byW. A. Mozart and “Quintet in B minor for clarinet and strings, op. 115” by J. Brahms.
