All set to Loano for the FINAL FOUR of the bocce championship. 2015 (flight) of the Series A, organized under the auspices of the Federbocce since’A.S.D. Bocciofila Loanese with contributions from the’Department of Tourism, Culture and Sports of the City of Loano

The March 21 and 22 p.m., the Loano bowling alley (at 6 Alba Street), will host for the twelfth consecutive time the awarding of the national championship which has reached its 58th edition this year.

Loano's bowling facility will be the scene of the most anticipated challenge of the season: they will be Perosina Boulanciel, Brb Ivrea, Borgonese and the Pontese (defending champion) to contend for the 2015 championship. The team that wins the national title will then participate (as the top seed) in the 2015 Champions Cup.

“Back to Loano," says Councillor  Remo Zaccaria “the final of the A Series bowls championship, which again this year will draw to our city a large number of fans ready to crowd the stands of the Loanese bowling alley. Thanks to the great efforts of the La Loanese Bocciofila society, headed by President Gian Nicola Ferrero, the appointment with a sporting event of national importance is renewed. The two-day final four will see the presence of Rai Sport with live streaming on the Federbocce website (www.federbocce.it) and with an extensive summary to follow on the Rai Sport channel.”

The event will kick off Saturday, March 21,to the 2 p.m., with the semifinal matches featuring the Perosina Boulanciel (which finished the 2015 regular season in first place) with the Borgonese (came fourth ) while the Brb Ivrea (2014 Champions Cup holder) will face the Trevisans of the Pontese.

The winning teams will play in the finals, scheduled for Sunday, March 22 from 10 a.m., with the first round being held, namely combined, pairs, individual and quad, followed by the relay. The competition will resume in the afternoon from the 2:45 p.m. with the two precision and progressive shooting to be followed by the third round (combined pairs, individual, pairs and triplets). The competition will end with the award ceremony.

Coordinator of the competition will be Giannenrico Gontero, the arbitration direction will be entrusted to Bartolo Carena, Giuseppe Nappi, Enzo Petenzi, Enrico Schiara.

The opening of the Lovran bowling alley for fans is announced for Saturday, March 21 at 11:45 a.m. and to the 8:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. for the day of Sunday, March 22.
