Saturday, March 14,a Loano, to the 4 p.m., at Civic Library (Kursaal Palace)a slide show and lecture entitled “From A...to Z...Cortemilia, capital of the hazelnut, amid the scents and colors of Langa, a Unesco heritage site”, organized by the’UNITRE of Loano under the auspices of the Municipality of Loano.
Images and insights will be provided by. Flavio Bado, which will present a tribute dedicated to Zefferino Bado, promoter in 1952 of the First Hazelnut Festival, an appointment that is still of great appeal today.
The conference will provide an opportunity to learn about and admire a landscape that has been on the UNESCO World Heritage List since June 22, 2014, an area famous worldwide not only for hazelnuts but for the delicious, full-bodied wines that are produced: Barbera, Dolcetto, Nebiolo and the extraordinary Barolo and Barbaresco.
And it is the colors and scents that are breathed in full force in the Langa land that the frames will tell.
Flavio Bado, born in Cortemilia and a graduate of Pharmacy in Genoa, since retiring he has devoted himself to travel, writing and photography (he is a member of the Riviera delle Palme Photographic Circle in Ranzi).
