Friday, August 29, a Loano, in the’Summer Arena Prince's Garden, to the 9:30 pm, the final stage of the seventh edition of the International Dance Competition “A Dancing People”  choreography and young talent competition.

The competition will feature soloists, pas de deux and groups. Participants may bring on stage choreography belonging to any technique and style. The jury, composed of distinguished figures in the field of dance, will award a first, second and third place, a grand prix, two special mentions and a festival revelation prize for both the choreography competition and the young talents

The evening is part of the twelfth editionof Labat Loano Dance, a dance festival sponsored by the’Department of Tourism, Culture and Sports of the City of Loano Edited by master choreographer Gino Labate and by the dancer, teacher and choreographer Emanuela Campiciano.

Saturday, August 30, in the’Prince's Garden Summer Arena, at 21.30,the festival will close with the “Stars in Dance” Grand Gala.

During the evening there will be the presentation of the Grand Prix “Giuliana Penzi” 2014 a Alexander Frola(Talent Award), Antonio Sisca(Talent Award), Carmen and Matilde Rubio(Lifetime Achievement Award), Osiel Gouneo(Lifetime Achievement Award), Rolando Sarabia (Lifetime Achievement Award), Venus Villa (Lifetime Achievement Award), Georgina Rigola(2014 Dance Promotion Award).

International guests will take turns dancing on stage: Alexander Frola will perform the choreographies “Magnificat” and “Harlequinade.”, Antonio Sisca the choreography of the “Bolero” by Bejart, Ines Hellin Rubio and Jose Molina the Ballet Espanol de Murcia's repertoire of Carmen and Matilde Rubio, Chiara Fiaschi the solo from the Labat Dance Company's repertoire, Rolando Sarabia Don Quixote's variation, Vittorio Galloro  e Arianne La Fita  choreographer John Bliekendaal's “Romance” two-step and choreographer Ivanov-Petipa's “Satanella” two-step.

Completing the evening's program will be a performance by the winners of the “A Dancing People”, interns and the Labat Dance Company composed of Diletta Della Martira, Maria Novella Della Martira and Francesca Capacci with choreography by Gino Labate.

The evenings are at free admission.
