“I had a blue handkerchief“ is a novel that touches on the theme of memory, freedom, desire, rebirth. Characters that chase each other, relationships that intertwine, unhappiness that grows, for once life, for a future to be built.
Franca Benedusi was born in Niella Belbo on November 10, 1943. After attending schools in Mondovì, she began her working career as a teacher. She abandoned it for family reasons: she married and moved to Turin, where she worked as a clerk in municipal offices. At 37, she moved to Alba, where she continued to work in the municipal offices.
