Friday, December 1, a Loano, to the 16.00, will be inaugurated the anthological exhibition of the UNITRE Art Workshop of Loano, organized under the auspices of the’Department of Tourism, Culture and Sports of the City of Loano.
The exhibition, set up in the Mosaic Room of Palazzo Doria, will illustrate the artistic and personal growth of the students of the Painting Workshop, now in its tenth edition.
“Learning by doing is the motto adopted in the Art Workshop," explains the UNITRE president of Loano, Umberta Bolognesi - an educational method used by two important figures in the world of education: Sir Robert Baden-Powell the founder of scouting and Maria Montessori, a well-known Italian pedagogist. The method, which consists of reproducing, assisted by the teacher, an author's painting, allows even novices to acquire skills from time to time, tackling the problems the artist faced while painting it and trying to solve them.”
The exhibition, with free admission, can be visited until the December 15, Monday through Friday, during municipal office hours.{:}
