Saturday, September 16, a Loano, in the’Oratory of Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary (Turchini), the third concert of the musical season of the “The Concerts of the Turks.”, organized by the Brotherhood of the Turks' Chapels under the auspices of the’Department of Tourism, Culture and Sports of the City of Loano.
Protagonist of the review “The Musics of the Soul.” will be the duo formed by Micol Pisanu (soprano) and Francesca Riva (guitar)
The voice and guitar recital will kick off at 9 p.m. with compositions for voice and guitar by Mauro Giuliani (Seeming of jubilation, Confused lost, To my many tears, Ah! Say not that I adore thee not). This will be followed by the performance of the guitar-only composition Ochos Valses poeticos by Enrique Granados.
The evening will then feature the performance of a fine program focusing on the Cançiones Antiguas Españolas by Federico Garçia Lorca. They will be performed: Anda,jaleo, Los cuatro muleros, Las tres hojas, Las morillas de Jaèn, El Café de Chinitas, Los reyes de la baraja, Sevillanas del siglo XVIII.
Micol Pisanu was born in Nuoro in 1995. At an early age she began vocal training followed by her parents, both opera singers and choir directors, the M°Maria Bonaria Monne and the M°Sandro Pisanu.
She began her singing career by taking part in the children's voice choir the “Pueri Cantores di San Domenico Savio” directed by her mother. When she was only ten years old she recorded as a soloist the CD “Thilicherta,” attached to the volume of the same name of children's songs, nursery rhymes, lullabies and Sardinian folk music revised by M° Ignazio Pes. At the age of eleven, she began studying violin followed by M° P.Argiolas and then enrolled at the P.G. Da Palestrina Conservatory of Cagliari in 2010 where she followed studies with M°Marco Ligas. She is currently studying at the Conservatory of Music “G.Verdi” in Milan with M° M° Claudio Marzorati. In 2015 she began the study of Opera Singing at the Conservatorio G.Verdi in Milan followed by teacher Cristina Rubin. In the summer of the same year she attended the Masterclass held by Soprano Elisabetta Scano, aimed at the staging of the Opera ”Il Matrimonio Segreto” by Domenico Cimarosa, playing the role of Elisetta. In 2016 she debuted for the first time in the role of Gilda, the protagonist of Giuseppe Verdi's opera “Rigoletto.” She is currently attending the Renaissance and Baroque Singing course followed by M°Anna Aurigi.
Micol Pisanu also works as a choir director: since 2012 she has directed the White Voices Choir in the music courses of the music association “Diapason” of Nuoro and the ”Polyphonic Choir of Olzai.” Since 2014, she has held the position of deputy director of the Male Choir ”Priamo Gallisay” of Nuoro. She has been a teacher of musical propaedeutics on behalf of the Association
Diapason of Nuoro from 2012 to 2014. He has taught modern singing at the Civic School of Cassano d'Adda (MI) and musical propaedeutics at Ricordi Music School in Milan.
He is currently a violin teacher at the Ottavanota music school in Milan and a singing teacher at the “Tinina Amadei” music school in Gessate (MI).
Francesca Riva born in Lecco in 1994, began studying guitar at the “Alessandro Manzoni” music-oriented middle school followed by Maestro Emilia Cappello. She enrolled at the “G. Verdi” conservatory in Como in September 2008 in the class of Maestro Massimo Laura. Since September 2011 he has been attending the “G. Verdi” conservatory in Milan under the guidance of Maestro Francesco Biraghi and since 2009 he has been perfecting himself by attending Maestro Enea Leone's annual masterclass in Gessate. In 2014 he graduated from the “G. Verdi” conservatory with top marks. At this time he is attending the second level academic diploma at the “G.Verdi” conservatory in Milan. From a young age he has participated in numerous competitions: in 2008 he won first prize at the national competition “Lodovico Agostini” in Ferrara, in 2010 he won first place at the national competition “Fausto Polverini” in Città di Castello and the national competition “Lodovico Agostini” in Ferrara, in 2011 he won first prize at the national competition “Fondazione Milano” in Milan, first prize overall with a scholarship at the “Riviera Etrusca” competition in Piombino, first prize at the “Hyperion” national competition in Ciampino, first prize at the “Fausto Polverini” competition in Città di Castello in the concert category and first prize at the "Arte a 6 corde" international competition in Carpi.
In 2012 she won the “Luigi Restelli” Prize (a scholarship) at the “G. Verdi” conservatory in Milan and the “Ansaldi” competition in Vicoforte. In 2012 she was also selected for the Opening Concert on the final night of the Agustin Barrios International Guitar Competition. In 2015 he won first prize in the concert category at the “Villa Oliva” competition in Cassano Magnago. In 2016 he wins first prize in the “over in18 years” cat at the Guitar review in Roburent. Over the years He participates in numerous master classes by Maestro Enea Leone and with various teachers: Oscar Ghiglia, Carlo Marchione, Patrik Klemola, Marcyn Dylla, Luigi Attademo, Margarita Escarpa, Pablo Marquez, Antigoni Goni.
