Tuesday, September 12, a Loano, will continue the celebrations, sponsored by the Brotherhood of the White Disciples of St. John the Baptist under the auspices of the’Department of Tourism, Culture and Sports of the City of Loano, for the religious anniversary of the Most Holy Name of Mary.
At 20.00, in the’Oratory of the Whites, H.E.R. Msgr. Guglielmo Borghetti, Bishop of the Diocese of Albenga-Imperia, will celebrate Holy Mass.
This will be followed by the Procession through the city streets: the statue of Our Lady, adorned with flowers and lamps, will be carried in procession by the Brotherhood of Whites, along with the large processional Crucifixes, rich in decorative ornaments.
After walking the streets outside and inside the ancient walls of Loano, the religious procession will stop in fortress square, where the blessing ceremony will take place.
Participating in the procession will be the’Santa Maria Immacolata Musical Association, the Band of Our Lady of Pontelungo in Albenga. and numerous Ligurian Confraternities with their artistic Crucifixes.
