Film plot:
The dangers of the sea never end for the hapless Jack Sparrow (Johnny Depp) - pardon, the hapless Captain Jack Sparrow - who in Pirates of the Caribbean 5 Salazar's Revenge again becomes the target of an unspeakable pirate-hunting enemy horde. The fleet of ghost sailors captained by the fearsome Armando Salazar (Javier Bardem) is intent on cleansing the seas of pirate infestation, destroying all vessels on the route that display the black skull-and-bone flag, and condemning the bandits on board to a dreadful end. Having escaped from the Devil's Triangle aboard the once majestic, now dark and decadent Silent Mary, Salazar seems to have a bone to pick with the scatterbrained Sparrow of all people; his only hope for survival lies in the legendary Trident of Poseidon, but to succeed in finding it he will be forced to ally himself with the brilliant and charming astronomer Carina Smyth (Kaya Scodelario) and the resolute Henry Turner (Brenton Thwaites), a young sailor in the Royal Navy. At the helm of a small, shabby ship, Jack prepares to face the ocean, resigned to adverse fate and the clash with past enemies who just don't want to know about dying for good.
