Friday, August 11, the program of events at Loano will offer a double musical event sponsored by the’Department of Tourism, Culture and Sports of the City of Loano.

At 9 p.m., on the waterfront in Orto Maccagli, the review “Finally Friday” with a tribute to Paul Mc Cartney.

Sir Paul”, this is the title of the show, traces the artistic history of Paul Mc Cartney by offering the most significant songs of his career.

On stage to remember the great successes of the baronet from Liverpool will be the Genoese band the White Wings who revisited the songs while keeping the spirit of the compositions intact. Along with the musicians will be Marco Rinaldi which will recount the more or less well-known episodes in the life of Mc. Cartney and the Beatles.

The mix of music and storytelling will make the show exciting and engaging. Songs that have rightfully entered music history and made the Beatles immortal will be heard again.

The band is led by Mark Aixer who plays the role of Paul (vocals, bass, piano, and electric and acoustic guitar) and composed of Livio Mastrogiovanni (choirs, electric and acoustic 12-string guitars), Luciano Rossi (choirs, electric and acoustic guitars, bass), Roberto Ferrari (keyboards) and Giampiero Esposito (battery).

The evening is dedicated to the project Savona Women's Phone.

At 21.15 in fortress square concert will take place Music in the Square of the’S.M. Immaculate Music Association.

The Loano band corps, directed by the Master Davide Nari, will perform a musical program ranging from original band pieces, pop music pieces, and transcriptions of classical pieces. It will be possible to hear: On the Square by F. Panella, Aroldo, symphony by G. Verdi, Italian Polka by S. Rachmaninov, Horatii and Curiazi, symphony by D. Cimarosa, Call of Heroes by M. Geisler, Indiana Jones Selection by J. Williams, Postcard from Cuba by G. Gazzani and El Camino Real by A. Reed.
